Water tools of death

People have invented a great number of tortures to get to know the information they needed or to make people do what they want and with other purposes. People even used water to torture people.

- There was an ancient torture for people in Ancient China. People were bound and put under the tap not well closed, so that only the drop fell from it. And this drop was falling on the same place in the forehead of a person. In few days any person went crazy. It considered being one of the worst punishments in the country as every drop of water was like a stone that fell on the head.

- If people wanted to get to know some information, they simply didn't give water to the prisoner. When person is thirsty he/she is able to do everything to taste the drop of water.

- People were sunk. A person was put into the water for several minutes so that he/she couldn't breathe but also had enough oxygen not to die. And after tortures a person usually sank. Peoples of Eastern Europe with the help of this torture found out whether a woman was a witch or not. They bound a woman and dropped her into the water, if a woman released and survived, that she was a witch, if not – she wasn't.

- Another torture is connected with the head of water. A person was put next to the wall and a huge head of water from hoses was directed on him/her. In such way a person got serious injuries and suffered a lot. At the same time a person had no ability to breathe. And sometimes he/she simply gasped.

- People made the tortured person drink a lot of water and if the prisoner refused, they poured a lot of water into his organism through watering-pot. And the water turned a person into a big balloon full of water. Sometimes instead of water vinegar or urine was used. To make the prisoner suffer more, people poured hot water into him.

- One of the most popular kinds of tortures was also the temperature of the water. The prisoner was put either into very cold water or into very hot water. In such way a person suffered a lot. To get necessary information, at first only feet or hands were put into it, then more and more pats of the body were put into the water.

People invented a great number of tortures during their history and they couldn't leave alone the possibilities of the water.
