Magical abilities of water
People believed that water had superpowers. In religions of many countries water is considered to be a great power able to heal people, kill them, and give magical powers.
There are several legends and stories about the superpower of water. Here are some of them:
- Once there was a girl who got into the catastrophe and got very serious injuries. The girl couldn't move after the catastrophe and doctors told she couldn't walk any more. And the girl was despaired as she was doing well in skating and wanted to take part in the next Olympic Games. Her granny decided to try the holy water to heal her. Every day she came to her to the hospital and washed her legs with the water. In couple of weeks the girl felt her legs and started to move them. And in a few months she could walk again. Doctors didn't recommend her to begin to skate again as it may cause more serious injuries. But she didn't listen to them, and she won the Olympic golden medal.
- Once the ship sank during the storm. There were only several people who survived. But they faced new problems. Those who survived were sitting in the boat and had no water, the current was taken them to the sea and they had no help. In several hours they felt extreme thirst, but the water was salt and they couldn't drink it. But the priest who was sitting in the boat told them to close their eyes and imagine it is the sweet water and to drink it. And people drank and didn't feel it was salt. In several days a ship that was passing by noticed them and saved them. People were wondering how these people could survive without sweet water and only a few people believed in their story.
- Once an experiment was held. Scientists put three bottles with rice and water. Every day during three months people said "thank you" to the first bottle, "I hate you" to the second bottle, and didn't pay attention to the third bottle. After three months passed, scientists saw that the rice from the first bottle overgrown, the rice in the second bottle turned sour and the rice in the third bottle went bad. The conclusion was that indifference is the worst that can be.
The water has a lot of magical abilities and nowadays even scientists try to investigate this phenomenon. According to some researches it was proven that water has really the ability to heal people.
